FAQs

What causes my skin to feel so dry and itchy?

When we shower in hard water, the minerals clog up our pores, keeping our natural oils from smoothing our skin.  Chlorine can also be a factor that leads to dry and itchy skin.

I have heard that soft water makes it difficult to get the soap off, is this true?

Sometimes it may seem that the soap is not coming off. However, soft water unclogs our pores and allows our natural oils to flow. So the sensation of the soap not coming off is actually the way nature intended us to feel. Not only is the soap gone, you are also left with soft, smooth skin

Is a soft water system going to add a lot of sodium to my water?

Our systems are designed with efficiency in mind. The salt used with our systems is such a small amount that it is barely measurable once it enters your home. However, this is not the case with all water softeners.

Understanding this correctly, how should I treat my drinking water?

Reverse osmosis is a great way to provide high quality, great tasting drinking water at your kitchen sink. It eliminates the need to purchase bottled water while providing an easier solution for cooking and other drinking needs.

What are the differences between soft water and reserve osmosis?

Soft water is designated for shower, appliances, plumbing, and any other water source in the home. Reverse osmosis is designed to take care of the water we drink and cook with. Our home water filters include shower, refrigerator and reverse osmosis water filters.
