Our EcoWater facility is certified to perform RPZ Testing & Backflow Prevention Testing for both residential and commercial applications. If you live in a home or own a business that utilizes an RPZ (Reduce Pressure Zone) valve and are not sure when it was last tested, it would be wise to contact usto schedule testing. Often found in homes or buildings with an irrigation system, fire suppression system, or large boiler, the RPZ device works to protect your drinking water and the city water supply from contaminants. Water often sits stagnant within these systems ready to be used when called upon. If your home’s water pressure or the city’s water pressure should ever drop lower than the pressure within those systems and the RPZ device fails, then potentially contaminated water has the ability to flow throughout your home’s other plumbing systems or back into the city’s water supply.
